In case you missed the show, here’s a copy of the podcast. The show actually starts at about 5:45 into the file.

IMG_3457[1]222333Well, I’ll tell you what, I could have talked to Dr. Regina Davis for hours on the topic of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Having spent years in ministry to Vietnam veterans and their families, I know full well the effects of PTSD on a person and a family, and not just those who’ve seen combat! This show will open your eyes to trauma that many women silently suffer under, domestic violence being one of the most compelling stories shared today, and how important it is for us to not isolate and hide the trauma but stay connected to safe women who can walk with us on this journey to wholeness. You can contact Dr. Davis at http://www.facebook.com/davishealthyminds or by calling 210-241-4954.

We gave away 2 free one hour therapy sessions with Dr. Davis, valued at $130 each, and Martha Fisher, Director of Women’s Ministry at CBC shared an event coming up this Friday, August 2 where women can come together in a safe place and have a time of fun and fellowship. Girls’ Night Out from 6:30 to 8:30 at Community Bible Church this Friday night.
